Continuity by design
Resilience shapes architecture, operational planning, and recovery decisions from the outset.
Atlas Global Technology Solutions, Inc. is being built around the systems people and institutions depend on—and the responsibility to keep those systems functioning through disruption.
Healthcare, communications, energy, and essential services rely on interconnected systems. A failure in one domain can affect operations far beyond its starting point.
Atlas’s approach begins with those connections: identifying dependencies, separating failure domains, and designing protection and recovery into infrastructure from the beginning.
Resilience shapes architecture, operational planning, and recovery decisions from the outset.
Technical literacy, clear responsibilities, and verifiable performance guide our approach to leadership and service delivery.
The purpose of essential infrastructure is to support lives, communities, and the everyday connections that make society worth preserving.
A message from the Founder & Chief Executive Officer
I conceived Atlas around a conviction: the systems sustaining our communities deserve infrastructure engineered for disruption. Healthcare, communications, and essential services depend on one another. Our responsibility begins with understanding those dependencies and preparing for what happens when they fail.
We plan across a 60-year horizon because the communities we serve deserve a commitment that reaches beyond the next quarter or the next leadership team. Our purpose is to build lasting capability through disciplined engineering, accountable leadership, and long-term stewardship.
“I have designed Atlas to outlast me—legally, operationally, technically, and culturally.”
Technology serves people. Protecting infrastructure also means protecting the relationships, cultural memory, and everyday traditions that give communities their identity. That is the commitment guiding Atlas as we build.
John Richard Klein
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Atlas Global Technology Solutions, Inc.
John Richard Klein is the founder of Atlas Global Technology Solutions, Inc. A systems thinker with experience in Android development, mobile systems, and application architecture, he approaches infrastructure through its dependencies, failure modes, and recovery pathways.
His vision for Atlas brings cloud and continuity, cybersecurity, and consulting together around a shared commitment to resilient essential services. He emphasizes technical literacy in leadership, clear operational accountability, and a 60-year planning horizon.
John’s commitment to infrastructure equity reflects his belief that resilient systems should support underserved and geographically isolated communities. The family tradition of Betty’s Barbecue also informs the proposed Night of Continuity—a reminder that the purpose of technology is to protect human connection and cultural memory.
In Social Justice and Corporate Responsibility in the Digital Age: A Story of Transformation, John explored how technology could support essential services, human rights, and underserved communities. That conviction became foundational to Atlas.
Our 60-year horizon extends that thinking into institutional design: responsibility should shape the architecture of an organization from the beginning.
